Bristol Sands Flower Drop 2020

Following on from a previous post, we have had to cancel our annual flower drop in its usual format due to social distancing measures that are still in place and to ensure everyone remains safe. This weekend a few of the Bristol Sands committee members will meet to carry out a flower drop service for all our babies. There will be a few readings before we drop the flowers into the sea. 

Normally everyone would be able to write tags for their own babies or request via email, that tags be written for those that can’t make it. Unfortunately this year due to the way the service will be done we won’t be able to do that. The flowers will be dropped with a tag attached in memory of all of our babies. 

The short ceremony will be filmed and we will aim to post the service (as we did with the spring service) on our social media pages on Sunday afternoon (12th July). 

We look forward to hopefully having the event in person again next year.
